The Fork in the Road
There is a fork in the road almost every day. One road looks really nice. It's been paved, apparently well kept, and there are a lot of people headed that way. Plenty of room there for more. It's a wide path.
Then there is another fork in the road. Doesn't look quite as nice. It's seems a bit small and you don't see a lot of people taking it. And every time someone does take it their are at least one or two guys on the wider road saying "ah man, don't go that way. Come over here with us. You know if all of us are doing it it can't be bad. It's a lot more fun over here and God wants us to have a good time and enjoy the journey. Buddy I'm telling you don't go that way."
[What you don't see; is that the owner of the wide road has been sending out his workers to tear up the narrow road for a long long time. It looks bad, unkept, and unattractive because the enemy has been working hard for years to make it look that way.]
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. " - Proverbs 14:12
"From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us." - Acts 17:25-26
