Arrogant and Overfed

" 'Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned ... " - Ezekiel 16:46


We must resist the temptation to follow the ways of this world. This "world" would have us focus on violent and sexual offenses when we think of what "sin" is. This world would have us focus on things that affect society or other people when we think of what "sin" is.

However 'sin' isn't about 'your' preferences, tastes, or things that bother 'you'. In fact thinking that it's 'about' you is arrogance. 'Sin' is about what God does not find right. It's about what is to 'his' liking; or not.

Live 'for' the one that loved you enough to give his own life for you. Not even your own mother loved you as much as God has and does.
