Admire Beauty? ... Strength?
We're all brought up "in this world" and despite our best efforts to remember the cross of Christ we seem to still get infected by this world.
Just let this serve to be a reminder. That the kingdom of heaven is not a matter of "success" the way "the world" would considers it.
- In regards to beauty (it's fleeting) Pr 31:30
- In regards to strength (it will fail you, don't trust in it) Isa 31:1
- In regards to winning battles in this world (Jesus would have waged the fight here if his kingdom was here) John 18:36
You'll find hundreds of more examples when you read the scriptures. So do it today; read for yourself and show God you care more about what he has to say to you than what's on television or in that make believe first person shoot'em up. Seek him with all of your heart, mind, and strength.
